Now that a whole new roster of Mazda cars and SUVs has rolled out here in our Sarasota neighborhood of southwest Florida, there's plenty to get to know. Luckily, the experts here at Ed Howard Mazda have made it easy, without the need to slog through a spec sheet. Take a look!

Mazda3

Our automaker's iconic, and many-a Lakewood Ranch driver's favorite, sedan and hatchback duo returns for 2019 all-new, from its powertrain and active safety features and driver aids to its leading-edge infotainment technology and more upscale character. It’s now even available with i-ACTIV® all-wheel drive.

Mazda6

Auto emergency braking with pedestrian detection, a blind-spot monitor with rear cross-traffic alert, lane-keeping assist, and adaptive cruise control all come standard for navigating Bradenton traffic in this, our brand's flagship mid-size car. G-Vectoring Control Plus also comes standard for precise, smoother, and more efficient cornering. A new trim level, Grand Touring Reserve, joins the group, while the previous six-speed manual transmission leaves it.

Mazda CX-3

This subcompact SUV not only now features a new electronic parking brake, which frees up some storage space, but the front seats have also been redesigned for more and better support and comfort, not to mention that leather seats are now available. The 2.0-liter engine now runs more smoothly and emits less noise, vibration, and harshness, and minor revisions to the car's grille and taillights round out the model year's enhancements.

Mazda CX-5

With a new top-tier trim, Signature, this compact SUV amplifies its luxury look and feel for the new model year. The fresh face features leather accommodations, wood and chrome accents, and ambient lighting for the cabin, among other premium amenities. Android Auto and Apple CarPlay are now available, and a new engine, a turbocharged 250-horsepower, 2.5-liter model, has been added to higher trims. The finishing touches: more refined torque vectoring and suspension systems, resulting in a smoother, more enjoyable ride down the road to Venice, FL.

Mazda CX-9

This mid-size SUV model's changes vary as widely as its family-friendly people-mover status is unswerving. Touring trims and later gain Apple CarPlay and Android Auto to accommodate smartphones, while Grand Touring gets a massive reconfigurable 7-inch instrument cluster, front seat ventilation, convenient power-folding mirrors, and the panoptical view of surroundings at your North Port venue afforded by a 360-degree view monitor. Factor in a retuned suspension and more soundproofing, and you can expect unrivaled ride quality.

Mazda MX-5 Miata and MX-5 Miata RF

Our automaker's convertible and coupe team gets a boost in horsepower for 2019 as well as a higher redline, raised from 6,800 to 7,500 rpm, making it more exhilarating than ever. That's whether you choose the hard-top roadster or go for wind-in-the-hair excitement, too.
